Scuba Diving in Cozumel with Dive Paradise

1-Tank PM Dive

A relaxing afternoon one-tank drift dive on a spectacular shallow coral reef in Cozumel

Cozumel Scuba Diving Tour Description (PM)

World-class diving on legendary coral reefs in Cozumel

Welcome aboard, friends! The afternoon one-tank trip starts at 3:00pm.

The boat makes pick-ups at Dive Paradise locations at Cozumel Hotel & Resort and Villablanca Beach.

We’ll drift dive at one of three eye-catching spots: Paradise Reef (45 feet); Chankanaab Reef (55 feet); Las Palmas Wall (which we’ll dive at a max depth of 60 feet). After the dive, the boat drops you back at the dock, around 4:30 to 5:00pm.

Your safety remains our number one priority. So we emphasize conservative dive profiles. These dives are shallow—60 feet or less. This one-tank trip offers safe additional bottom time.

We provide one divemaster for each eight divers. You’ll find our boats spacious, with lots of elbow room to spread out. We guarantee a maximum of 16 divers aboard. Count on complimentary purified water.

PM 1-Tank Dive Trip

Detailed Scuba Dive Trip Description

It’s your vacation — with Dive Paradise you’re free to dive at your own pace.
Looking for fast company? Choose our afternoon two-tank express trips.

Welcome aboard, friends! What’s the story on the Dive Paradise afternoon one-tank trip? Are you “sea-rious” about wringing maximum bottom time out of your SCUBA vacation?

Your health and well-being remain our number one priority at Dive Paradise. With this one-tank trip we offer additional safe bottom time. We emphasize conservative dive profiles. So this dive is shallow—60 feet or less. Thus, the afternoon one-tank trip is an ideal add-on to any two-tank morning trip.

Do you prefer to do some “light diving” for the day? Have you planned “other-than-diving” activities for the morning through early afternoon? Then the p.m. one-tank option is just the ticket…. when you’re eager to squeeze in another chance to get wet.

With our 3:00 PM departure, we’ll get back underwater after everyone else has finished their diving for the day. We often have the reef to ourselves.

We’ll drift dive at one of three knock-your-eyes-out spots:

• Paradise Reef (45 feet),
• Chankanaab Reef (55 feet),
• Las Palmas Wall (which we’ll dive at a maximum depth of 60 feet).

Each dive site offers an outstanding variety of fish and coral. These three lush reefs are sure to please –– even if you dive the same one more than once during your Cozumel vacation. At Chankanaab, Paradise and Las Palmas, every day brings discoveries of the new and unusual!

Additional Information

Important:

Your boat then speeds south to the walls and reefs.

When the dive is a wrap, we head back. The boat will drop you at the dock around 4:30 to 5:00pm.

Roomy boats

Count on Dive Paradise for spacious boats, with lots of elbow room to spread out. Except for special requests for group charters, we guarantee a maximum of 16 divers aboard.

So you have more room, as you cruise to the reefs… Room to stretch and move around. To organize gear. To chat, and mingle, and make new friends.

Caribbean-style “big boats” feature broad dive platforms and wide ladders, for easy entries and exits.

Small groups

We provide one divemaster for each eight divers. If a group exceeds eight, we split it in two and send an extra divemaster. That way, we keep groups small underwater.

Safety is Numero Uno

Your safety remains our number one priority at Dive Paradise. So we emphasize conservative dive profiles. We recommend a dive computer — BYO (bring your own) or rent from Dive Paradise.

How do you select dive sites?

It’s “divers’ choice” — Divemasters present options and look for a friendly consensus. When necessary, the crew may select the dive sites, in consideration of safety factors such as strong currents or weather.

Boat Notes

• We serve complimentary snacks and purified water.
Want to cut down on plastic waste? Please bring your own refillable water bottle!
• DAN oxygen and first aid kits on every vessel.
• There is sometimes — but not always — a restroom (head) on the boat. (If this feature is important, please confirm with the concierge.)

Need high quality rental equipment? Ask in advance, and your gear will be waiting for you when you board.

Relax, kick back, feel safe…. At Dive Paradise, service is always friendly, personal, attentive — and professional.
