International Clean-up Day 2010!
Dive Paradise and PADI Project Aware are calling upon both divers and non-divers to celebrate
International Beach and Underwater Clean up Day Saturday, September 25th.
Dive Paradise needs your help to target underwater and shoreline debris in the area in front of Villablanca Hotel. Project AWARE Foundation, the dive industry´s leading environmental organization, coordinates underwater clean up events and urges divers and volunteers to pull on their gloves and make a SPLASH for TRASH!
Certified divers will be offered the use of a tank for underwater clean up in the area in front of Villablanca Hotel -
So bring your equipment and Splash for Trash! And don´t forget your C-Card

Project AWARE Foundation coordinates the underwater portion of this event working in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy making it the largest volunteer effort of its kind. Helping to preserve aquatic environments, educate the public on debris issues and gather data for resource managers. |
